Shaded Structures
Florida Playgrounds is very proud to say that we use Superior Shade for all of our shaded structures. We provide a wide range of products for virtually every type of playground and other outdoor situation no matter the size, shape or location.
Benefits of Having a Shaded Structure:
- All of the shaded structures are engineered in-house. ISO 9001:2000 registered manufacturing facility.
- Protection against UVA and UVB rays, preventing the risk of the children getting skin cancer.
- Shaded structures can reduce the liability of burn injuries. When metal parts of a playground are exposed to high temperatures, and a child comes in contact with the part injuries such as 3rd degree burns can occur. Children are especially vulnerable to this because they have not developed the reflexes to heat as older adults.
- Glide-Elbow technology, this technology allows the structures fabric covering to be removed at a moments notice in case of a hurricane to prevent damage in the severe weather may cause.
